On May 24, Albuquerque police responded to a robbery call from the Circle K convenience store located at 900 Juan Tabo Blvd. NE.
According to a criminal complaint, police say a Hispanic male with a bandana walked up to the cashier and demanded money from the cash register. The store employee told police he gave the man $106.66 and a carton of cigarettes. The man did not have a weapon.
Based on surveillance video showing the man entering the store, police identified Lawrence Gallegos as the suspect from his facial tattoos, according to court documents.
On June 18, Torrance County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Gallegos at his residence in Moriarty on a warrant.
Gallegos was booked into the Torrance County Detention Center on felony charges.
