On April 1, the Rio Grande Credit Union of Rio Rancho at 1526 Unser Blvd SE was robbed by a suspect that the FBI has nicknamed “The Tan Pants Bandit.”
The suspect demanded money from a teller, who handed over an undisclosed amount. He is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a stocky build. In addition to his tan pants, the suspect wears a black sweatshirt, a black beanie, a white face mask, glasses and black Nike shoes.
The suspect is also wanted in connection with the March 4 robbery of the First Financial Credit Union of Rio Rancho on 2201 Rio Rancho Blvd SE. The FBI is offering a $2000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the “Tan Pants Bandit.”
