The City of Rio Rancho recognized Veterans Day on Nov. 11 with a parade on Southern Blvd. and special ceremony.
Rio Rancho Mayor Gregg Hull and City Councilor Bob Tyler walked the parade route waving, shaking hands and handing out miniature American flags to the large crowd that lined Southern Blvd. State Rep. Kathleen Cates also walked the route, tossing candy to kids in the crowd, while Rep. Joshua Hernandez drove in the parade.
