Fried food, performing animals and face paint: The New Mexico State Fair is here
The 2024 New Mexico State Fair kicked off Thursday with morning with a number of events, including a sea lion show, a horse show and animal races. The fair will run through Sept. 15.
Admission, rides and food specials were discounted for opening day.
