Drivers along East Venus Rd. will encounter delays and road crews until Sept. 6 while crews work to install new drainage culverts, repair the roadway and repave a 1.2 mile stretch of the road. The construction zone begins at Evening Star Loop and extends eastward.
Officials encourage drivers to seek an alternate route using Venus Rd. east to Bassett Blvd., south to Dinkle Rd., and west to NM 344.
